The skillsets required for today’s work are rapidly evolving. The adoption of digital technologies, machine learning, and artificial intelligence is putting fresh demands on workplace performance.  How will your teams learn effectively to leverage technology? How will your workforce remain relevant in an increasingly competitive marketplace? Realizing the urgent need for learning transformation, LEARNTech Academy’s mission is to shape the next generation of leaders in the future of learning and workplace training through the LEARNTech Academy Program and LEARNTech Workshop.

What is learning transformation?

To meet the challenges of Industry 4.0, learning must transform from an industrial-aged, mass production template. Learning that is knowledge-driven and customized for the unstructured, complex environment which is the contemporary workplace will be the differentiator.

A transformative approach to learning includes interactive and immersive learning content along with other innovative uses of technology.  LEARNTech Academy believes that real learning transformation will embrace opportunities afforded by innovative learning methods to drive learning and performance outcomes.  Learning transformation that adopts innovative learning technologies will grant your team unprecedented access to learning content where knowledge collaboration will be essential.

Creating future leaders of learning transformation

LEARNTech Academy seeks to enlighten and empower Learning Technologists and Learning Architects who will lead learning transformation at their organizations.

Learning Technologist is an emerging profession actively involved in managing, researching, and enabling learning with the use of learning technology.  Learning technology consists of communication, information, and related technologies that are used to support learning, teaching, and assessment. A Learning Architect is a learning technologist who is also responsible for the design and development of the institutional learning architecture.

This structure may comprise technologies, systems and processes, methodologies and pedagogies, people and competencies, and curriculum and content.  The learning architect is able to look at a learning or performance issue and create a comprehensive and holistic solution employing both internal and external resources. Learning Architects understand the education and training industry, trends in e-learning, classroom technologies, and how it relates to learning and performance.
